Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery

Lumpkin County, Georgia 

From Dahlonega City Square travel east on East Main Street, at second stop-light turn left. Turn right on Cavenders Creek Road, the church and cemetery is several miles up Cavenders Creek Road on the left. 

Brief History of Cemetery

Philippi Baptist Church was constituted on December 21, 1867, and has served the local community since that time.  The cemetery contains many early gravestones.
