Pierce Family Cemetery
Lumpkin County, Georgia
Traveling from the Dahlonega Gold Museum, travel west on West Main Street. Turn right at second stop-light (Hwy 9/52). Turn right onto Siloam Church Road the name changes to Hightower Church Road after 4 way stop. Continue on Hightower to T intersection, turn left cross Etowah River, bear right, continue until road changes to dirt road the cemetery will be on right. behind the Community Chapel Congregational Holiness Church on a grassy knoll. This is a poorly maintained small cemetery. There are only 3 inscribed stones, and many field stone burials here. Located in the National Forrest but apparently maintained by no one.
