Luke White Line in Lumpkin County

Luke White was born in 1750 Wilkes, Rowan, North Carolina he married Elizabeth Yokley in 18 Jan 1773 in North Carolina. From this marriage came many children, one of whom was Luke White Jr. born 13 Jan 1793 in , Burke, North Carolina, died, 1873 Lumpkin Co, GA.

Luke Jr. married Margret Baker (1799 - 1884) of NC around 1814 and moved his family from Burke, NC to Lumpkin County, GA.

The children of Luke and Margret were:  

David White 1835 -1915

John White 1836 -1897

Mary White 1832 - ?

Andrew White 1843 - ?

David White married Sarah Tate (1844 - 1926) in 1874. and lived just over the Lumpkin line in White County. Their Children were:

Frank White

John H. White (1878 -195?) Married Linna Ballard

Charles Wofford "Charley" W White (1882 - 1835 ) Married Lillian Edwards

Henry J. White (1882 - 1955)

Ida Bessie C White (1885 - 1948)
